Welcome the all-new Adidas X 15.1 Boots. The new Adidas X 2015 Boots were revealed on 25 May 2015, set to debut in the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final. The Adidas X 2015 Soccer Cleat introduces a revolutionary design for Adidas Boots, made for players who shatter expectations and create chaos on the pitch.



The new Adidas X 2015-2016 Soccer Boots will be already worn in the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final on June 6, worn by players such as Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba and Morata. The new Adidas X 2015-2016 Boot features a ultra thin soft synthetic upper material for a close ball touch. A reinforced cage on the upper of the new Adidas X Cleat provides additional stability in areas where it's needed most.

Similar to Nike's Mercurial Vapor X, the new Adidas C Cleats have a tongue-less design for a responsive fit. On the upper of the new Adidas X Boots is the brand-new Adidas X branding.

The design of the new Adidas X Cleat is anything but a classical Adidas football boot design. After Adidas already introduced a totally new Three Stripes positioning for the 2015 Adidas F50 Adizero, the new Adidas X Cleat features no Three Stripes.

The mainly White Blue Adidas X 15 Boot boasts a unique black / yellow cage design for more stability in the midfoot area, while the Adidas Performance logo is printed on the heel area. On the inner sole of the Adidas X Cleat is a unique graphic pattern.
 
Made for explosive motion, the new Adidas X Cleats also introduce a brand new AG / FG hybrid sole plate. The outsole of the new Adidas X Cleat is designed for acceleration on Firm Ground surfaces and Artificial Grass with triangular studs and a second-level of cleats, similar to the Adidas F50 Adizero 2015 Boot.

Nike MagistaX Proximo Goes Total Orange

We’ve covered quite a bit on the new NikeFootballX series in recent weeks, including the introduction of the indoor focused MagistaX Proximo IC. After some soul searching, we admitted defeat in our efforts to obtain a pair in the introductory Stealth Black version and took the extremely vibrant Total Orange colorway into our presence with open arms!



Let me start by saying that this colorway is everything you would expect – these boots are wildly bright! Total Orange on any boot is highly visible, but when you increase it up along a mid-cut collar it has a complete stand-out effect. We’ve been exposed to colors in many different shades of Neon over time, but there is something different about this colorway that gives it that extra, unexpected layer of pop. "Meteor Shower" Adidas X 15.1 2015 Leaked

The feedback on the first adidas X15.1 design has been mixed. The launch colourway combination was either one you loved or one you disliked it, but adidas are now ready to strike back. With a "Meteor Shower" combination things kick up more than a few notches. A black design is one we refuse to believe anyone could ever hate, but that doesn’t mean it’s boring, as the reflective look adds that element of chaos we associate with the boot.

On the "Meteor Shower" Adidas X 15.1 couldn’t have gotten a better debut, with a goal in the Champions League final, through Luis Suarez. Several of the female stars at the World Cup and U21 players competing in the European Championship have been using the boots with devastating effect too.
We are suckers for a blackout design and like we said, the reflective look just makes the boot even more awesome. When sharp light hits the boot the reflective elements light up and even the thought of it makes my knees weak. That being said, the design is not entirely blackouted as adidas have chosen to keep some of the neon dots on the upper and added a calm grey tone.

There probably won’t be much on field professional player support and that truly is a shame, because these stunners would look insane under the floodlight. A couple of us here at Unisport are already ready to order a pair when they land.
My Finnish colleague Niilo has had his say on the boot: “So in my opinion the first colourway was a little bit too brave and neon is not a colour everyone likes. It's great that adidas have released a more traditional colour and this color-changing upper is really cool”

Wolf/Grey/Blue Nike Mercurial Superfly IV Released

If you are a fan of the Nike Mercurial Superfly IV range, I think you will appreciate this latest colorway. Having seen the Wolf/Grey/Blue boots in action, I can tell you that they evoke similar visual emotions to the initial Red Plum release in the series – except these are a better looking pair! Rather than offering a dramatic pop, these offer up more of a lighter, slightly serious, “don’t mess with me” look.

Nike seem to have a habit of getting their releases in the Nike Superfly range right visually. Both of the most recent releases (in Wolf/Grey/Blue ) received plenty of positive attention, and I have a strong suspicion that these will be no different.

The Nike Mercurial Superfly IV offers a tidy package but at a pretty high-end price. The two advancements with this boot are the use of Flywire, and the adjustable studs. Flywire is designed to act like the support cables on a bridge by taking and holding the majority of the weight of the upper. This, in turn, allows Nike to decrease the required materials and produce a lighter boot. The adaptive studs offer a very contentious addition to the boot.

In theory, the studs of Wolf/Grey/Blue Nike Mercurial Superfly IV have the ability to dig into a firm natural surface as you put your pressure down on the sole. It is something that is very difficult to actually see in action as the boot needs to be in contact with a surface as you put your full weight down.

2016 Nike Mercurial Superfly Concept Boots by Mbroidered

Italian graphic designer Federico Maccapani has created three unique Nike Mercurial Superfly Concept Football Boots, which draw inspiration from the Nike Mercurial X Proximo Multicolor Boots.

When Nike released the stunning Nike Mercurial Proximo Indoor and Turf Boots, there was a great demand for a 11-a-side version of the Multicolor Flyknit boots. Federico Maccapani now designed three Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots featuring a Multicolor upper.

Adidas 2015-2016 X 15.1 FG AG WhiteSolar BlueCore Black

The adidas X15 has been making waves since its introduction this summer. Apart from the mostly white colourway, which was released this morning, the new boots for the chaotic player have so far stuck to mainly three colours - black, silver and neon. This new colourway does incorporate two of them, but does bring something completely new to the table, with a Solar blue accent tone.



The new Adidas X15 comes hand in hand with the introduction of an Ace15 and another X15 model. We will however most likely not be seeing any of them on the feet of our favourite adidas superstars , which I think is a real shame, because the White/Solar Blue/Core Black version really strikes me as a boot that would look amazing on the pitch.

It’s a great mixture of calm colours and flair, which compliments the very unique and lava lamp-ish X15 design very well. I don’t know if I’m ready to call it the best one yet, but it’s certainly in and among the very best so far.



The people I’ve asked around the office are all in agreement, this is definitely a colourway worthy of some on-pitch love from professional athletes. We don’t know if it will happen, but we certainly hope to see either Bale, Suarez, or one of their boot-brothers in them.

Nike created 333 pairs of "Rare Gold" Mercurial boots to mark Cristiano Ronaldo's third Ballon d'Or success but they've refrained from releasing the figures for how many have been reserved for the US. When you consider the European batch sold out in a matter of seconds you can expect today's drop not to hang around for much longer.


So what time do they go on sale? That's the problem, Nike have yet to announce a specific time that the "Rare Gold" will go online. "Timeless" being the key hint in Nike Soccer's tweet yesterday. It could be a long day of refreshing if you're determined on getting hold of a pair.

2016 New Adidas X15 and ACE15 – “Solar Blue” Collection

Another fresh colorway has been released in the Ace15 and X15 series as adidas look to continue impressing the market with their new silos. These feature a very clean Solar Blue design, with some Solar Yellow detailing added in to finish the look. It is the type of look that is set to match perfectly with the start of the new season.

2015 Nike Magista Obra – Black / Volt / Hyperpunch

It’s super-rare that we get to see a boot in it’s physical form, and then not be able to buy it for almost a full four months afterwards, but Nike have definitely played the long game on the Nike Magista Obra – Black / Volt / Hyperpunch.

First spied at the Nike Innovation Summit in Barcelona, you couldn’t move on Instagram or Twitter for bumping into this alternative reveal colourway for Nike’s groundbreaking Magista Obra.

But, as these things sometimes happen, for the sake of keeping it ‘on message’ during the World Cup, the Nike Magista Obra – Black / Volt / Hyperpunch has had to wait it’s turn since then.

Thankfully, this new colourway is now available to order – launching subtly alongside the ‘Stealth Pack‘, the Nike Magista Obra – Black / Volt / Hyperpunch offers players a nice middle ground between the bold launch colourway and the new black-out edition.

Reminiscent of the LEDs on the Nike FuelBand, this Magista boasts a graduated colour change across it’s upper, with Volt on the lateral side of the boot meshing with Hyperpunch on the medial.

Despite no official on-pitch support, the Nike Magista Obra – Black / Volt / Hyperpunch will be available to order today, and we’re expecting them to be a popular option with unsigned players for sure.

Other than the pattern these are the same-ground breaking Magistas that Mario Gotze slammed home the winning goal of the World Cup in just a couple of
weekends ago.

The stand-out Dynamic Fit Collar indicates the use of FlyKnit, which forms the upper of the boot for a fit and feel on the ball like nothing else on the market.

2015-2016 Nike Hypervenom Phantom Liquid Diamond

 

When your first signature football boots were gold, where do you go from there? Well, if you’re Neymar and your boots are made by Nike, then you get liquid diamonds.

Nike have taken the unusual step of looking at Neymar’s tattoo’s for design queues of the Hypervenom Phantom Liquid Diamond – with one bit of ink in particular carrying a very special meaning for the Barcelona No. 11.

His close relationship with his sister, Rafaella, is symbolized by a diamond tattoo on each of their arms.

Neymar’s football boots usually have the words ‘joyful’ and ‘daring’ stitched on them somewhere, and the Liquid Diamond Nike Hypervenom definitely embodies both of those words.

The Upper obviously gives a great sense of depth to the chromed-out upper colour, whilst Nike’s designers have also accented the upper with subtle lighter and darker flashes for the sort of depth you’d find on a real diamond.

Following those flashes are the details on the Nike branding. The forefoot Swoosh is especially distinctive, as it’s picked out in Hyper Pink, with Volt lines intersecting that famous Nike logo.

As you can see, there’s really a great deal going on with whole of the Liquid Diamond Hypervenom. Whether it’s the distinct gold tongue, black laces or all-Volt outsole, Nike have really filled this boot to the brim with personality, befitting of Neymar himself.

 

In tech-specs, these are – of course – the same Hypervenom Phantoms that have been tearing up the pitch since June 2013, with that unmistakable honeycomb Nikeskin upper, All Conditions Control finish and split-toe outsole combining to make a boot that’s truly outstanding for attacking players.

2016 New Released Nike Hypervenom II WWC

The launch of the Hypervenom II has allowed Nike to play their final card in the 2015 Women's World Cup Pack. Combining flashes of Volt yellow with a striking ‘Blue Lagoon’ colour, as a nod to the famous lakes of the tournament host nation Canada.

For the first time, there's a women’s Hypervenom II, which will be seen this June on national team players from the United States, England, France and more. Good news for the girls as this isn't a one-off from Nike who are committed to expanding their offerings to the female player and providing women's sizes. Good news for the boys too, as this belter of a colourway drops in men's sizing also.
