"Meteor Shower" Adidas X 15.1 2015 Leaked

The feedback on the first adidas X15.1 design has been mixed. The launch colourway combination was either one you loved or one you disliked it, but adidas are now ready to strike back. With a "Meteor Shower" combination things kick up more than a few notches. A black design is one we refuse to believe anyone could ever hate, but that doesn’t mean it’s boring, as the reflective look adds that element of chaos we associate with the boot.

On the "Meteor Shower" Adidas X 15.1 couldn’t have gotten a better debut, with a goal in the Champions League final, through Luis Suarez. Several of the female stars at the World Cup and U21 players competing in the European Championship have been using the boots with devastating effect too.
We are suckers for a blackout design and like we said, the reflective look just makes the boot even more awesome. When sharp light hits the boot the reflective elements light up and even the thought of it makes my knees weak. That being said, the design is not entirely blackouted as adidas have chosen to keep some of the neon dots on the upper and added a calm grey tone.

There probably won’t be much on field professional player support and that truly is a shame, because these stunners would look insane under the floodlight. A couple of us here at Unisport are already ready to order a pair when they land.
My Finnish colleague Niilo has had his say on the boot: “So in my opinion the first colourway was a little bit too brave and neon is not a colour everyone likes. It's great that adidas have released a more traditional colour and this color-changing upper is really cool”

In other words there is great enthusiasm for the new boot here at Unisport and when you then keep in mind that the awesome design is attached to a stud-configuration that is compatible on both artificial grass and regular grass. What do you think about the new design – better than the launch colourway?

2016 New Adidas X15 and ACE15 – “Solar Blue” Collection

Another fresh colorway has been released in the Ace15 and X15 series as adidas look to continue impressing the market with their new silos. These feature a very clean Solar Blue design, with some Solar Yellow detailing added in to finish the look. It is the type of look that is set to match perfectly with the start of the new season.

It is also a similar style look to several adidas boots of the past. Take for example the adiPower Predator that featured a replicated color scheme. That boot proved extremely popular and the 3-stripe will be hoping this 2015 look receives the same positive attention.
Find the entire Solar Blue collection available at prosoccerus.com.

The  features several technical innovations, which all feature the letter X. There’s the reinforced X-Cage designed to keep the balance between a lightweight boot and one which offers the support a player needs on the pitch. The boot also features the X-Skin synthetic upper which offers up a veritable triple threat of softness, fit, and ball grip, as the upper is the beneficiary of a treatment known as Non-Stop Grip (NSG) which aids ball control regardless of weather conditions. When it comes to traction you have the X-CLAW system sitting on the exoframe soleplate which is designed to offer grip on either artificial or firm ground pitches.

The adidas Ace15.1 is the boot that impresses us most of the new 2015 collection. Why? Because they opitomize everything you need in a boot. The upper is comfortable with an accommodating fit, they feature a soleplate and traction system that can adapt to multiple surfaces, and the upper provides a clean touch on the ball. Adidas has produced a final product that goes against player expectation and is advertised as a top performer for any style of attacking player. But don’t let that define the boot; Petr Cech, Leighton Baines and David de Gea are just some of the defensive style players currently wearing the boot. Realistically, they just make sense for both type of players.

Released The Ace15/a classic adidas colourway

There was a lot of raised eyebrows, when adidas announced that they were scrapping all their football boot collections and launching their revolution in football. The result of their bold move was the Adidas X15 and Adidas ACE15, which have since been continuously gaining more and more fans. Now adidas are ready with another new boot, which will certainly not do anything to harm the Ace15’s reputation.

The first two ACE colourways have been very well received and people were particularly pleased with the Reflective design that was unveiled about a month ago. This new Solar Blue/Solar Yellow/Core Black is definitely a little more colourful, but if you ask me just a different kind of cool.

The combination of blue, neon and black is not one adidas are new to and they have incorporated it on many of their boots before. The most famous examples of it being used is on the Predator adiPOWER and more recently the launch colourway of the Nitrocharge boot. When released both were massive successes and I see no reason why this shouldn’t be the same.

Control is the name of the game with the Adidas ACE15 and everything about the boot is fine tuned, through extensive research, to give you control in abundance. Technologies like the distinctive honeycomb ControlWeb and the TotalControl stud-configuration all help players like Özil and James Rodriguez get the control they need to dominate the run of play.

This is a classic adidas colourway that has featured on many boots before the ACE15. I love that despite adidas radically overhauling their range of football boots, they are still holding on to some of the more classic adidas combinations and it gives me some hope that we may see a black, red and white Ace at some point. What do you think about the new boot and are there any classic adidas colourways you hope to see incorporated again?

Adidas Launch The X15

As if the upcoming Champions League Final didn’t have enough hype to begin with, adidas have chosen to launch their revolution in line with the biggest game of the year. It's the boot touted as the choice for those that “can never be controlled”: welcome the adidas X15.

The adidas X15 arrives on the scene as the brand’s answer for players looking to provide chaos.  The three stripes want the X15 to be for players that "defy rules and structure." With the entirety of the adidas stable declaring over the last few weeks on social media if they are “control” or “chaos,” Thomas Muller, Gareth Bale, Luis Suarez, Karim Benzema, and Alvaro Morata will be amongst the players headlining the X15.

In the name of chaos, adidas claims the X15 is the “ultimate weapon for the game’s most dangerous players”. Marking the brands first step into the collar game, adidas has used their impressive techfit material to create a low-cut collar that will sit tightly around the ankle to provide the highest level of support and create an impressive fit. Across the upper is the X-Cage to prevent your foot from slipping while attempting to make quick cuts, which should couple with the lightweight design to keep you always moving.

The make-up of the upper sees adidas stepping away from HybridTouch in this new revolution and creating X-SKIN. A three layered material that adidas hopes will be a game changing product that will be able to provide top performance, protection, and comfort while creating chaos in the adidas X15.

The new stud pattern is being dubbed as the X-CLAW and is meant to give the lightweight offering great traction. Although not as different as what we are seeing with the ACE, this set-up is different than anything we have seen from adidas in the past. Combining a more traditional grouping of heel studs, the forefoot has a mix of normal length studs and smaller teeth-like nubs that should combine to allow for some good grip and easy turning.

Slated for the first public viewing during the upcoming Champions League Final, will we see “chaos” reign? The adidas X15 is available to pre-order from today at selected online stockists including www.prosoccerus.com .
